Dogwood offers a variety of IT systems consulting to enable our clients to fully utilize technology solutions.

Dogwood's IT philosophy emphasizes open, scaleable technology components. Whenever possible, Dogwood prefers an open solution to a proprietary solution in order to prevent clients from being locked into a particular vendor. Using open standards prevents early obsolescence, allows easy migration to future technologies, and lowers costs by allowing competition among various technology providers.

In keeping with this philosophy, Dogwood utilizes primarily FreeBSD and Linux servers running Apache, mySQL, PHP, Perl, and other widely-supported Open Source infrastructure components. We also provide integration in multi-platform environments including Linux, Macintosh and Windows.
